We would like to share with you the relevant regulations regarding the import of cosmetic products from abroad, whether for personal or commercial purposes.

Importing Cosmetics for Personal Use

The importation of cosmetic products ordered online for personal use is not permitted under the Simplified Customs Declaration (BGB) procedure.
However, there are no restrictions on importing such products through the standard customs procedure.
In other words, cosmetics can be imported into Türkiye by submitting a regular import declaration in compliance with customs legislation.

Importing Cosmetics for Commercial Purposes

Cosmetic products imported for commercial purposes are also subject to the standard import procedure.
However, the import of cosmetics is governed by the specialized customs regime (İhtisas Gümrüğü), meaning that the importation can only be carried out through designated specialized customs offices authorized for cosmetic products.
